Looking at the furniture of Maitland Smith it is hard to believe that the narrative of this manufactory has starter only thirty years ago. The sophisticated fine finishing, the quality of surfaces and the design are lent from the merchandise of the XVII-XVIIIth centuries.

The methods of production amaze: metal casting, the finest china processing, hand-painting, mosaic inlay, hand-carving, treating knives with young sea shells and egg shells.

Many of these hand-made objects are produced in limited series and are meant to become family legacy.
